All incubators have limited resources and therefore choosing the right assets to help client startups has a vital importance. In this context, we look at the differences and benefits of having mentors or coaches. A coach can be described as a professional that spend regular time with client startups and follow their development closely on a daily, weekly or bi-weekly basis. On the other hand, mentors are informally engaged experts that intervene on a non-regular basis (usually once every quarter or semester) to provide expertise to client startups on specific topics.
