Baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) is the original multi-tasking compound and the basis of Church & Dwight’s power brand, ARM & HAMMER®. This beloved brand is well-known in much of the world as a household staple. Baking soda also has numerous industrial and environmental applications. To further the use of baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) in more environmental and sustainable applications around the world, Church & Dwight is looking to collaborate with startups developing the appropriate technology and innovation.

Our Technical Specification

Church & Dwight is interested in partnerships with startups developing technology/innovation to drive or enable outcomes that can help air, water, and/or land environmental or sustainability solutions. Some solutions could be based around (but not limited to):

Our Experience

We are eager to challenge the incredible UBI Global community to find innovation that will use the power of baking soda in new ways of sustainability and environmental care. Some of the most amazing innovations at Church & Dwight have come from employees, manufacturing partners, and suppliers who already know the company well.

Our Goal

To find new sustainable and/or environmentally friendly uses for baking soda (bicarbonate of soda) through startup partners with innovation on the brink of greatness.

We want to add value to innovation already beginning to come into its own by including the Church & Dwight brand through mentorship, resources, financing, and/or long-term partnership.
